If you are a student of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics this summer you have the opportunity to join Ekobit’s summer internship and through our workshops learn about business analysis, quality assurance and HR selection, and based on practical tasks you will have the opportunity to meet our product BizDataX.
Workshop agenda
June 13th
HR selection
- Between the two technical slots, the HR team will show what the selection of employees for technical positions looks like. The HR team will show what the selection of employees for technical positions looks like. The workshop begins with an overview of the preparation for the selection process, students will see what the preparation entails and how to properly prepare for the selection.
- After the break, the second part would be the hands-on experience of holding the interview. Participants will have the opportunity to be candidates in the simulation of the interview, but they will also try their hand at the role of interviewer, ie see what it is like to be “on the other side” and lead the interview. After that, together we will share impressions and ask questions, and students will assess how they coped in which role and from this workshop will bring concrete advice, knowledge and valuable experience for future situations like this that are sure to come.
June 14th
Business analysis
- Introduction to BizDataX tool (what is BDX and what is it for)
- Sprint information, iteration plan
- Analysis, drawing sketches, writing documentation
- Team lead job – Daily review, User Story writing
- Task: divide students into two groups, each group will be given a task, design a GUI screen, and write the necessary documentation, BA, BR, GUI
June 15th
Quality assurance
- The day starts with daily – just like at work, in practice everyone would have a few minutes to say what they did yesterday, learned, what they like, what they would do differently today
- Ekobit testers, who work on two different projects, present:
- To start moving the tasks on the board, then writing Test cases according to the documentation and then connecting to User Story and bugs, and will show an example of testing in the application, test types, and finally an example of testing with equipment
- Task: in the practical part, students will write Test cases according to the documentation and then test in the application; testing smart glasses used in telemedicine
If you have basic knowledge of business analysis, application development process, and relational databases, and you are familiar with the terms C #, HTML, CSS, Javascript, class and object – write a short motivation and apply by June 8 th!
