Web development – Backend

Backend @ Ekobit

Interested in what a three-tier software development architecture is, how it is used in practice, and why it is desirable? In addition to this, the workshop will provide answers to many more questions. You will be introduced to the ASP.NET Core Web API and see how C # can be used to build Web applications. In the first part you will learn the basic terms of Web development – controller, service, repository and code-first database approach. The second part of the workshop will take place as a hands-on where you will be able to use the newly acquired knowledge.

Web development – Frontend

Frontend @ Ekobit

After the previous day, where you developed a backend of simple Web applications, it’s time for the code to get a visual display as well. The primary technology to be used in this application is Angular, a Typescript-based technology. How to connect the backend and frontend part of the application, access the data from the server, what are the advantages and disadvantages and why use it? Angular divides code into functional units through modules and components, and they are interconnected through routing. After getting acquainted with the basic concepts, you will encounter HTML and Sass. The hands-on workshop will reveal some new possibilities for connecting models and their display.

If you have basic knowledge of business analysis, application development process, and relational databases, and you are familiar with the terms C #, HTML, CSS, Javascript, class and object – write a short motivation and apply by June 8 th!
